Have you ever wondered why Indian temples are built in a particular way? Why is the Garbhagriha at the center? What do the Shikhara, Mandapa, Dhwaja, and temple sculptures symbolize?

This one-month weekend course (8 sessions) introduces students to the fascinating world of Indian Temple Architecture through the lens of the Bharat Knowledge System (BKS). The course explores temples not merely as places of worship, but as masterpieces of architecture, art, science, symbolism, geometry, and spirituality.

Students will discover how every part of a temple is designed with purpose and how temples preserve India's cultural heritage, philosophical traditions, and artistic excellence. Through stories, illustrations, discussions, and interactive activities, learners will develop a deeper appreciation for the timeless wisdom embedded in India's temples.
